KFC Is Releasing A Chicken Pizza Appropriately Naming It The ‘Chizza’
Torn between chicken and pizza? We understand, and so does KFC.
Just like pineapple on pizza, KFC has done the unthinkable and combined one food item you wouldn’t expect to pair with pizza.
Two words: fried chicken.
That’s right, the fast food chain has just created a pizza and chicken hybrid that they call, the “chizza”.
Now if that sounds good to you its because it is!
According to a recent press release, the Chizza, features two extra crispy, fried chicken filets slathered in a zesty marinara sauce, pepperoni, and melted mozzarella with a stretchy cheese pull.
The unique food item which was first introduced in the Philippines almost ten years ago, has also debuted in Germany, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Spain, and other countries around the world.
Finally, the Chizza has made it to the United States!
And to celebrate this new pizza/chicken mashup, KFC is turning one of their New York City chains into a “Chizzeria” pop up!
Sort of like a pizzeria, but not.
Therefore, if you’re visiting the Big Apple or you just so happen to live in the city, customers who want to crunch down on a slice can visit the pop up at 242 E 14th street on February 23 and 24!
From 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time, count on KFC to be serving hot slices!
