Oh boy – do I have the tea for you…

News recently broke that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have finally reached a divorce settlement.

As you may recall, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce back in February 2021 and since that time, things have been quite difficult between the two.

Not only has Kanye had some very public outbursts direct towards Kim and her family, he has also lost brand deals over his antisemetic comments.

And now, he will be losing even more…

According to the divorce agreement, Kim Kardashian will receive $200,000 per month in child support from Kanye West aka Ye.

The two share joint custody of their four children but rumors have been, the two don’t directly talk with each other about the kids and instead chat through family, friends and personal assistants.

Why Did Kim Divorce Kanye?

In an interview with Vogue earlier this year, Kim explained her split reasoning was that

“for so long, I did what made other people happy” and that she decided “I’m going to make myself happy.”

She went on to say that:

“even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy.”

“I’ve chosen myself,” “I think it’s okay to choose you.”

I mean, I don’t blame her.

In September Kanye did publicly apologize to Kim during an interview with Good Morning America saying:

“This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration because God calls me to be stronger,”

But honestly, I don’t think anyone is buying it.

Kanye has publicly hurt a lot of people and I don’t think he is going to change any time soon.

Let’s just hope this divorce settlement between Kim and Kanye will be what is best for their children.
