Petition to Remove Kanye West from Coachella Festival Gathers 37,000 Signatures

Is Kanye West the new person to be cancelled?

Kanye West has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately…

Looks like things just continue to get more complicated for him because he has been banned from performing at the Grammy Awards.

We all know the drama surrounding Kim Kardashian and his very eery and strange obsession he has with her.

We also know that he has very publicly attacked and even threatened Pete Davidson who is currently dating Kim Kardashian.

And with all of that (plus many more incidents in between) Kanye seems to be on the wrath end of being cancelled in cancel culture.

There is currently a petition on Change.org urging Coachella organizers to pull Kanye from the 2022 Coachella festival’s Sunday headlining slot.

We have watched Kanye harass, manipulate, and hurt Kim, Pete, and others for over a year now. No one seems to want to stand up to him, and the ones that do, he puts under fire as well. Most recently, he has been threatening actual bodily harm on others. This is ridiculous that he is allowed to freely do this. Coachella (along with other brand names that are still working with him) should be ashamed of themselves and should not be giving him any more of a platform. Please sign & share! 

I mean, they are not wrong and currently, more than 37,000 people have signed the petition because they agree.

Kanye’s behavior is not okay and is damaging.

There is nothing right about his behavior and kids or fans seeing him behave this way, may think it’s okay.

And if you know anything about Kanye, if someone just looks at him the wrong way, they become his next target for harassment to which he calls “art”.

So while some may still support Kanye and buy whatever he slaps his name on, others are taking a stand saying that his erratic and problematic behavior is not okay.
