Krispy Kreme Partners With Twix to Create Doughnuts That Taste Exactly Like the Caramel Candy Bar
The saying “you can’t have your cake and eat it too” is untrue when it comes to Krispy Kreme considering the doughnut shop has just combined two sweets in one to create the ultimate stuffed doughnut.
If you’ve ever contemplated the choice between eating a stuffed candy bar for dessert or a creme filled doughnut, look no further because that choice has already been made for you.
Enter: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts made from the classic TWIX candy bar.
Now while we don’t know if Krispy Kreme’s newest collaboration is made from the left or right TWIX bar, dare I say it does it really matter?
Considering their latest creation features doughnuts stuffed with a salted caramel filling, dipped in chocolate icing and topped with chopped TWIX bar pieces, and finished with a caramel drizzle is more than enough cause to cease the war between the right and left TWIX.
Idolizing the popular candy sweet treat as it is, Krispy Kreme has also mimicked the shape and look of the famous TWIX bar and have created ‘Bar Doughnuts’.
Dipped in chocolate icing, drizzled with caramel and chocolate, topped with TWIX pieces and most importantly, stuffed with Chocolate Kreme and a whole sized TWIX cookie bar and yes, it’s really an entire candy bar packed inside baked dough.
As if that wasn’t enough to make you drool while you read, the crunchy and caramel filled bars and doughnuts come packaged in a specialty dozen count for a limited time only including four TWIX stuffed doughnut bars, four original filled doughnuts topped with TWIX crumbles, and four Original Glazed because you can never go wrong with a classic.
Krispy Kreme also offers mini sized doughnuts topped with TWIX pieces and while it may be small, don’t let its size fool you because it’s just as sweet.
