I feel like I’ve been living under a rock because I swear it was just a few months ago that McDonald’s drinks were still $1 for any size…

Turns out, McDonald’s Drinks No Longer Cost A Dollar and it’s been that way for a bit…

Some people (like myself) are just now noticing that McDonald’s drinks are now costing more than $1.

I checked my McDonald’s app to confirm the news and sure enough – everything besides the Extra Small drink has gone up.

The extra small drink is still $1.00 but for sizes Small – Large, those now cost $1.29 + tax.

Now, the pricing also seems to vary by location. Some people are reporting that Large drinks at their local McDonald’s are being priced at $1.99! YIKES!

Since when did fast food drinks become as expensive as sit down restaurants?

Now keep in mind, you can create a free McDonald’s account and download the app to have access to deals and rewards but it still sucks you can’t just roll up and grab an ice cold soda for just 1 buck.

Seems like now is a good time to finally kick that soda addiction once and for all!
