TikTok just doesn’t stop! People post the best ideas over there, like that Christmas Tree Cake Dip! Well, I have found the perfect cheesecake for Christmas, it’s an Oreo Red Velvet Cheesecake!

It all starts out with some Oreo cookies that you dip in half n’ half. They used regular size Oreos as well as the small bite-sized Oreo cookies.

After you dip them, you’ll line the bottom of your cheesecake pan with the Oreo cookies. Smush them in there so that there are no gaps in your crust.

Next you’ll make your batter using cream cheese, sugar, eggs, heavy cream, and vanilla. Mix it until it is completely smooth and creamy.

You’ll then need to divide the batter in half. One half you will leave as is and the other you will mix Red Velvet cake mix into it. If it isn’t red enough, you can change that with some food coloring.

Once you have both batters made you can start adding the layers. Just use a measuring cup and scoop them in alternating between the red and white.

After all of your batter is added you can take a skewer to the top of the cheesecake to create a design.

Bake for 1 hour at 325°F. Once it’s finished cooling you can decorate it with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and Oreo pieces.

Now eat that gorgeous cheesecake and be happy! You can find the recipe from SoYummy here. Watch the viral TikTok video below to see how it’s made.

You can NOT follow the recipe from the video. Batter is way too thick to spread, plus you can't get it the red color they did from the instructions. I used gel and that helped but it still wasn't the swirled affect. I had to just glob it in and swirl it best I could with a knife.

No way that the ingredients listed will make the cake turn out as shown in the pictures. Batter is way too thick and I even tried adjusting the ingredients to use 1% milk rather than heavy cream and only 3 bars of cream cheese instead of 4. I have it baking right now, but am not very hopeful in the way it will turn out!

Way too thick to spread like this, how did they thin this out? Does not make this design when the batter is thick like this…

Batter is way to thick going by this. Wil not spread as shown. I kinda noticed when I watched the video. When cup is dipped into bowl, it looks thicker than the shot of it being poured out over the Oreos. If an adjustment was made, please share.

@Jimmy, here’s what I did and it st worked - add the cream you soak the Oreos in to the batter. (That helped then used a little less red velvet cake mix and a good bit red dye)
