Many would prefer to have other people do their dirty work for them, and when I say dirty work, I’m talking about the raking, mowing, watering and the amount of upkeep it takes to make a lawn look fresh.

Luckily, there is someone who can do all of your chores for you and as long as you don’t tell mom or dad, your secret is safe with us too.

Introducing the Yardroid, an outdoor robot that is designed to complete all of the duties outdoors that mom or dad would usually make you do on a Saturday afternoon.

The robot itself looks like a mini army tank because yes, taking care of the lawn is a big deal and it requires a tank like object to take care of the bigger duties.

Now I know what you’re thinking, can a robot actually mow my lawn and the answer would be yes and no.

Yes, the Yardroid is capable of mowing the lawn, but it can do so much more than just cutting pretty patterns on the front lawn.

The Yardroid is also able to fertilize the yard, water the grass, rake, take care of the weeds, control the pests, leaf blow and it even has a tiny water gun like nozzle that can spray water on intruders!

So how does the Yardroid work?

The robot has two tracks on either side, reaching up to 2.5 miles per hour to maneuver around your lawn while also avoiding any obstacles that might stand in the way by using gun mounted cameras and computer vision.

There are lights on the front of the tank that also allow the robot to work day and night because truly, a yard’s work is never done.

Underneath the robot is also a heigh adjustment, so you can pick and choose the height requirement of how you would like your grass to be cut, so there’s no need to get down on your hands and knees with a pair of scissors anymore.

Talk about precision.

Inside of the robot, you will find two containers that will allow you to throw in grass seed and fertilizer, alongside a large three gallon water container.

The water container can dispense up to 1.5 gallons of water per minute using pin-point accuracy.

One of the best features about this robot is that it can automatically refill on water.

Weeds are not a friend, and this piece of technology prefers to omit any type of weed it comes across with a one quart tank that can hold and dispense weed killer when necessary.

The smart robot also enjoys working alone, which means any birds, squirrels, insects or creepy crawlers that might come by to say hello will be sprayed with water as a warning to prevent them from eating any seeds or leaving behind a mess.

While the Yardroid completes each lawn chore listed on the kitchen fridge, this robot is also a friend to the family which means it will protect, distract, delay, and chase away any intruders with a spray of water.

Now we know that a few sprays of water will most likely not stop an intruder; so, the Yardroid will also send a message to your phone as a security alert to warn you of any unwanted individuals.

Since the Yardroid has the summer, spring, and fall seasonal chores covered, of course there are also winter duties this robot can handle.

An optional snow plow attachment can turn this robot into a snow plow and although it can’t plow too much snow, it can help keep critical areas kept clear by repeatedly plowing the same area(s) while it’s snowing outside.

Luckily this robot knows when to take a break.

The Yardroid smart landscaping robot will automatically go back to its base to recharge when the battery reaches low level.
