Winter Essentials for Women

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of AmLactin. The opinions and text are all mine.

It’s cold outside and if you are a woman, I think you would agree that it’s cold inside too! Women everywhere are embracing the power of layers, tucking their toes under their spouses buns and sitting by an open fire. With Winter on the way, it’s only bound to get colder which is why if you are a woman (or even know one) you need to know about these Winter Essentials for Women. We are partnering with AmLactin to share just what those are so you’ll then be armed and ready for when the coldest days of the year hit!

Winter Essentials for Women

I say these are essentials for women because let’s face it, men just don’t get cold like us women do. It can be snowing outside and my husband would be trotting out in the snow with his basketball shorts and a tank on. It’s just in our nature as women to always be cold. With that being said, we don’t have to suffer. We don’t have to just take it and be miserable. Here are a few of my favorite ways to be comfortable all winter long…

  • A knitted hat. A hat! A hat! One that covers those ears I say! Hats keep the cold at bay.
  • Big fuzzy boots. The fuzzier the boots, the better! I love my big ol’ fluffy boots made with fur and lined with a water proof coating. My toes are sure toasty!
  • An oversized blanket. I don’t know what I’d do without my beloved blanket. When the hubby is too warm, I can always count on my blanket for cuddles and comfort. A heated one, is even better!
  • A long cardigan. I drown in those puffy marshmallow coats so I can’t do them. A cardigan on the other hand, I can rock that all night. It’s warm, comfortable and totally cute. The front pockets are a bonus!
  • Lotion! Lotion! Lotion! You guys, the dry winter weather is harsh on our skin and it shows! My hands are washed and dried so many times this time of year on top of the dry air, my hands look like a hot mess. Well, I guess I should say they did because now I keep lotion in my pocket, purse or with me where ever I go. But not just any lotion, I have the good stuff called AmLactin.

The AmLactin Difference

Lotions are not created equal. Some leave my hands feeling greasy without ever really healing my dry and cracked skin. Others leave my hands more dry than they were before. When I gave AmLactin a try I could tell a difference. My skin was soft, moisturized and felt like I knew it was supposed to. Now I don’t ever worry about my skin being dry or flaky again.

AmLactin helps manage the dry, rough skin associated with KP. The secret is AmLactin’s powerful alpha-hydroxy therapy exfoliates and hydrates so skin is soft and smooth. Plus, it has been trusted by dermatologists for over 20 years. Uncover smooth, radiant skin with AmLactin Alpha-Hydroxy Skin Care. Its unique exfoliating and hydrating alpha-hydroxy therapy gently removes dead skin cells to reveal soft, hydrated skin. It’s the difference between skin care and skin therapy. AmLactin moisturizers are available on Amazon.com and at your local Target, CVS, Walgreens, Costco, Walmart and Rite Aid.

I also love that these are fragrance free and non-greasy. I tend to get headaches with scented lotions so this makes me really happy!lotion
