Women Are Faking Plump Lips Using An Eyelash Curler and I Wish I Was Kidding
Sometimes new “Beauty Hacks” kill me. People jump on the most stupid bandwagons, and I just don’t get it.
Case in point: Nose Hair Extensions, Gluing Your Lips Together, and Filing Your Teeth. Why? Just why?
Now, it seems there is another new beauty trend, and it has to do with using an eyelash curler on your lips to make them look more plump.
Yes, you read that right. They are using that eyelash contraption that looks like a medieval torture device, but they are pinching their lips with it.
IMHO, this just sounds painful, and downright idiotic. They are called EYElash curlers for a reason. Not lip curlers. Eyelash curlers.

So, it seems the way this work is, you put your lip inside the eyelash curler. Then you kind of pump the eyelash curler open and closed. It looks sort of like you are “milking” your lips to make them appear more full.

I mean, even if this DOES work, exactly how long do you think it will last? It may actually plump your lips for a minute, but the lips surely go right back down to normal size in a few seconds.

Not to mention, it seems like you could seriously bruise your lips in the process, and I’m thinking that wouldn’t be too attractive.
