Here’s What The ‘Until Tomorrow” Instagram Challenge Means
As a photographer, Instagram is my favorite social media app. I would much rather scroll photos of your dogs and babies, than reading arguments and complaints on Facebook.
Heck, you don’t have to even be great at photography, and I will still heart your images because I love seeing life. Normal life, mundane life, exciting life. Life is what I want to see. I want to see what makes you happy!
So on Instagram, you may have started seeing the hashtag ‘UntilTomorrow’ trending.
It is a new challenge on Instagram to kind of lighten things up a bit. A distraction of the stress of today’s current world.
The ‘Until Tomorrow’ challenge is basically posting photos of yourself. Just writing a caption that reads “until tomorrow” and nothing else. They are supposed to be embarrassing photos, but most of these don’t look embarrassing to me.
If someone likes your ‘until tomorrow’ post you are supposed to send them a direct message to encourage them to post an embarrassing photo as well. The photos are left up for a day, hence the ‘until tomorrow’ label.
So far, at the time of this writing, there are over 517K posts! These are posts from all over the world! Some are normal posts of cute babies, selfies, life.
