There Is A Remake Of The 80s Film ‘Short Circuit’ In The Works And I’m Not Sure How To Feel
This is a total blast from the past! If you are an 80s kid, you will most likely remember the movie ‘Short Circuit’!
The original ‘Short Circuit’ movie came out in 1986 and I loved it! I know I have watched it since then, but I think it’s been a bit, I’m not even sure if I have had my kids watch it.
Spyglass Media Group is getting ready to make a remake. I’m not sure how to feel about that, because it’s an actual remake and not a sequel.
If you’ve never watched the original, it’s about a military robot called Number Five. The robot gets struck by lightning and it changes him to the point that he is actually able to have feelings, Number Five is alive!
Of course, having feelings isn’t the best thing for a military robot, I don’t want to post any spoilers for those that haven’t seen it. There is also a ‘Short Circuit part 2’.
You really should check out these original 80s movies if you haven’t already. It’s perfect for the entire family and is rated PG.
The remake is being written by Eduardo Cisneros and Jason Shuman and I wonder if they will keep the 80s feel of the movie, or if they are modernizing it…
