Sprite Is Coming Out With A Ginger Flavor And I’m More Than Ready
2020 is shaping up to be the year of new flavors, and I’m not even mad about it! What’s your favorite so far?
The newest brand to come out with, what is sure to be a hit, is Sprite. They are bringing out a soda that combines GINGER with their traditional lemon lime flavor, and I’m super excited!
I just finished off my last six pack of Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite, and it’s kind of giving me a little bit of the winter blues.
I could go back to regular Sprite — I like to add a bit of grenadine syrup or maraschino cherries — or I could bust open my case of Sprite Lymonade — it’s made with lemonade, y’all!
BUT, I could also wait for this NEW Sprite flavor to be released! It’s basically going to be like their traditional Sprite, but with a KICK of ginger!
Yes, please! That’s a big thumbs up from me. I LOVE me some ginger. Food, candy, drinks — as long as it has that spiced-up kick of the ginger root, I’m down to try it.
I started eating and drinking all things ginger while I was pregnant. Anyone else out there feel me? It really helped with morning sickness. I also use it whenever I have an upset stomach. It works wonders.
I’m betting this Sprite will be like a traditional ginger ale, but with that sweet taste of lemon and lime that you only get from Sprite.
Now, I’m not dumb. I KNOW there are other lemon lime drinks out there, but, to me, Sprite is just more refreshing. I could totally pick it out of a lineup.
So, you can imagine, I am freaking out about this new Sprite!
Sprite Ginger is going to be released nationwide at the end of February, and I’m counting down the days!
The billboards for Sprite Ginger have already been spotted in New York. There are SOME lucky people who might already be able to get their hands on this soda, and I’m UBER jealous!
Side Note: You could TOTALLY add some vodka to this, and make a super-amazing adult beverage. Just sayin’. Bring on the Vodka Sprite Gingers!
