Amazon Just Released ‘The Boys’ Season 2 Trailer and September Cannot Come Soon Enough
It has been called an irreverent look at Superhero Celebrity.

Like, what would REALLY happen if there were superheros? What would happen to the world? What big secrets would have to be covered up? What would the superheros try to get away with?

The Boys is an Amazon Prime original show, which dropped its first season in July of 2019. At that time, all the shows were released at one time, and it was glorious, because you could just binge watch the entire thing.
This time around, things are going to be a bit different. Season 2 will start on September 4, 2020. Three episodes of the wildly popular show will be released on that day.
Then the next 5 shows will be released weekly — which puts the finale sometime in October. Not long enough — right? Why do they do this to us?!?
I’m sure Amazon is hoping it will drum up “water cooler” talk, like The Handmaid’s Tale does for Hulu, The Mandalorian did for Disney+, and Stranger Things continues to do for Netflix.
Patton Oswalt will join the cast this season, and he helped make the big season 2 announcement with the rest of the cast at a special online event.
If season 2 can capture any of the magic and mayhem of the first, it will be something not to be missed, and I can’t wait to check it out this year after a long, long TV drought due to the pandemic. More to come.

I’m sure there will be more trailers dropped before the big premiere, but for now, here is the first look at The Boys Season 2.
