The First Teaser Trailer For ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 4 Is Here!
OMG!! I can’t take the wait. Gah!
After HULU JUST announced that The Handmaid’s Tale was going to be pushed back to 2021, it released the 1st trailer for Season 4, and I’m dying.
I need more June. I need more Commander Lawrence. I definitely need more Nick — I refuse to believe he is bad.
Much of the footage in the trailer is from previous seasons, but we get a few new glimpses into the future of The Handmaid’s Tale.
According to Elisabeth Moss — if you are living under a rock, that is June — the show had only been filming for two weeks when they were forced to shut down due to the coronavirus.
So, Hulu didn’t have THAT much footage to work with when it came to a Season 4 trailer, but they had just enough footage to make me want to cry about the fact that I have to wait like a YEAR to find out what happens!
When we were last in Gilead, June, the Marthas, and the handmaids had just gotten about 100 kids out of the country, and into Canada via airplane.
June had been shot, and the handmaids had found her, and were carrying her to — somewhere. We don’t know exactly where they were taking her yet.
It looks like both Fred and Serena have been arrested in Canada, they have us thinking Nick might be a bad guy — I’ll never believe it — and Commander Lawrence has stayed behind, to finish what he had started, and to face his fate.
“These women deserve to be helped, but I can’t do this alone,” June says in the trailer for Season 4. Is the rebellion truly starting? I’m too excited. I’m on pins and needles — and they are making us wait until 2021. GAH!!
