Well – I think many of us saw this coming… the jury is done deliberating for today.

Earlier today, the Jury began deliberating after hearing closing arguments from both Johnny’s and Amber’s legal teams.

After the closing arguments, Judge Penney Azcarate explained the process to the jury and even put two of them on standby notice (they were alternates).

She explained that if they didn’t reach a verdict, they’d continue Tuesday of next week (May 31, 2022) due to the weekend and holiday on Monday.

Did the jury reach a verdict in Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation case?

No. As of Friday, May 27, 2022 the jury has not reached a verdict. They decided to pick up next week to and did not reach a verdict before the weekend.

When will the jury reach a verdict in the Johnny Depp trial?

Nobody knows. The jury has to reach a verdict after weighing all evidence presented. The deliberations will continue on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 and continue every day after until a verdict is reached.
