John Carpenter is well known for the best horror movies, including ‘Halloween’.
‘The Thing’ stars Kurt Russell and is set in the winter of 1982 at a research station in Antarctica.
He is part of a 12-man research team that finds an alien being that has fallen from the sky and has been buried under the snow for over 100,000 years.
The alien is unleashed once it becomes unfrozen and terror takes hold since the alien can change forms and become anyone it wants.
The film will be shown in theaters and also have a special feature showing of the ‘Terror Takes Shape’ documentary!
I’m off to order my tickets for the 40th anniversary showing of ‘The Thing’ right now!
