The White House Has Asked People To Avoid Grocery Stores For The Next Few Weeks

I’m down to the nothings in my house. I need to restock the refrigerator, freezer and the cupboards. I already stress out about this when there is not a pandemic, now…now I really stress.

The White House coronavirus task force has directed us to stay home for the next few weeks. To not go to the grocery stores or any other public places if we can avoid it.

I feel like each day there is a new rule change and it is eating at my nerves. I’m a pretty strong person and I am still strong. But, even I am a bit nervous thinking about how long this will last.

We were told not to wear masks, now we are told we should wear masks. Even if they are homemade ones. So now I need to make masks. I know I should always wear one anyhow, but now it is becoming something you have to do, some places are even charging a fine.

The next two weeks are extraordinarily important.

Apparently they expect the next few weeks to be really bad. They want us to stay home. All of us. I need to get groceries. I’m anxious.

This will be probably the toughest week between this week and next week, and there will be a lot of death, unfortunately, but a lot less death than if this wasn’t done but there will be death.

It is hard to stock up with enough to last for a few weeks at a time when items are limited to how many you can purchase. Then other things simply are not available. But we will make due and make it through!

On my last grocery trip, I was allowed to buy 4 cans of green beans. We use 2 cans for just one dinner. So 4 cans are gone after 2 dinners. I know you probably relate. We will just all have to do our best and hang tight!

But if you really need something from the store, try using grocery pickup if possible. Stay safe out there!
