Thanks to Taco Bell who recently made it their mission to free the phrase, the taco chain has just announced victory and will be celebrating their success with the public!
To celebrate their recent achievement, Taco Bell has decided to celebrate their win by sharing their success with the rest of us who also share a love for tacos.
For several Taco Tuesdays, the taco chain is giving away free Doritos Locos Tacos for anyone wants one.
That’s right, you can soon snag a free hard shell taco that’s stuffed with beef, cheese, and lettuce.
Alongside free tacos for all, Taco Bell has also decided to sprinkle in a little something extra to celebrate the liberation of Taco Tuesday, and I’m not just talking about extra cheese.
In a partnership with DoorDash, the Bell has also made the decision to open up what they’re calling a “taco tab” of $5 million that will cover a portion of fans’ orders from participating vendors that also sell Mexican cuisine on September 12; now how cool is that?
“Taco Tuesday belongs to all who make, sell, eat and celebrate tacos, and this Free-For-All will not only thank taco fans who supported the cause, but will also spotlight local restaurants and vendors who can now embrace Taco Tuesdays without fear of legal action,” explained Taco Bell U.S. Chief Marketing Officer, Taylor Montgomery, in a recent press release. “When tacos win, we all win. We all win when Taco John’s decides to release its trademark registration, we all win when taco vendors everywhere are free to join the movement, and we all win when taco fans can freely celebrate and support Taco Tuesdays at Taco Bell or anywhere else.”

Now in order to snag that free Doritos Locos Tacos on Taco Tuesday, the celebratory promotion beings next week on August 15 to September 5 at participating Taco Bell chains.
And the best part is that not only will you soon be able to have a free taco in hand by the beginning of next week, but you can also snag a Doritos Locos Tacos for zero bucks with no purchase necessary.
