If we are being honest, we’ve all thought about what it would be like to be a social media influencer.

It is so intriguing — influencers get to pretty much work anywhere they want, make their own schedules, take fun vacations, and they get paid to do it.

Not only do they get paid for simply being an influencer, they can pull in the BIG bucks from ads and sponsors.

People like Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson — who all have way over one hundred million followers on Instagram — can pull in upwards of $1 million per post.

Yes, I said $1 million PER POST. They are pretty much ROLLING in influencer money.

Whether it’s TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram — and if we are being real, influencers have to have a presence on all three — it’s all about the followers and views per post that determines the amount of money you can pull in as an influencer.

What It Takes To Make $100,000 On TikTok

You need a minimum of 10,000 followers on TikTok, and you need to pull in upwards of 271 million views per year.

If you do one post every day for a year, that means you have to get roughly 740 thousand views on each post.

So, how does this work?

TikTok has a program for influencers called the TikTok Creator Fund.

You have to qualify for this program by meeting certain criteria.

First of all, you need to be based in either the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Spain, or Italy.

You also have to be at least 18 years old, have at least 100,000 followers, and pull in at least 100,000 video views on your posts in the last 30 days.

Your account and posts must all be aligned with TikTok’s community guidelines and terms of service.

What It Takes To Make $100,000 On Instagram

You need a minimum of 5,000 followers on Instagram, and you need to do 308 sponsored posts per year — that’s about 6 per week — in order to make $100,000.

So, it’s a lot of hard work, but it is totally worth it in the end.

To monetize your account on Instagram, you will need to switch your account to a professional account.

You also need to make sure that you list your account as a business.

That means you can make money by selling things outright, or by doing sponsored posts for different companies.

What It Takes To Make $100,000 On YouTube

You need to have a minimum of 1,000 YouTube subscribers and about 24 million views per year.

That’s about 66,000 views on each post if you make one post every day.

Much like Instagram, you need to enroll in the YouTube partnership program.

In the case of YouTube, you need to enroll in YouTube’s Partner Programme (YPP).

This will let you make money through ads on your videos.

According to YouTube, to be eligible for YPP you need to meet certain criteria.

1. Get 1,000 subscribers with 4,000 valid public watch hours in the past 12 months or
2. Get 1,000 subscribers with 10 million valid public Shorts views in the past 90 days

You really have to keep up — become obsessive almost — about the views you are getting on your posts.

The more posts you make, the more chances you have of hitting your “Valid Public Watch Hour.”
