After 9 Years, Evanescence Just Announced They Have A New Album Coming

Nine years y’all! I just have no concept of time, I would have never guessed it had been nine years since Evanescence released an album!

Anyhow, they have announced that they have plans to release a fifth album called “The Bitter Truth”.

There has not been an announcement of a release date for the album.

We promised you a new album in 2020 and we won’t let anything stop us. We are proud to begin sharing our new album The Bitter Truth with you, one piece at a time, starting with our first song Wasted On You on Friday!

However, there will be a single called“Wasted on You” that will be released on April 24th. Just a couple of days to go!

They are also doing something super fun! They will be choosing 50 people to join lead singer, Amy Lee, on a Zoom call to hear the single before anyone else! To be considered for a chance you need to pre-save the single “Wasted on You”.

I definitely have felt like I have one foot on the other side a lot the past two years. So there’s a lot of writing that’s, I guess in a way back to my roots in that I’m searching for meaning in things… That stuff’s all in there. But it’s not all dark and serious.
