It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago that I wrote about the house that was used as Buffalo Bill’s home in ‘Silence of the Lambs’ being for sale.

Well, someone snatched it off the market and fixed it up and is now renting it out for overnight stays and I really want to go.

The real home sold last year and is now available for whole-house bookings, this includes the basement too!

The home is located in a town called Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, and was purchased by Chris Rowan.

Chris Rowan is an art director and prop stylist for movies… so of course, he was the perfect person to buy this house and make it amazing!

We want to give fans access to this unique opportunity to spend a night or two or even a week at Buffalo Bill’s House and live out all of their Silence fantasies,

He’s also a huge horror fan so he renovated the home and recreated some of the movie experiences in the home.

Up to 8 guests at a time can stay in the massive home, so let’s load up our friends and hit the road… now I just need 7 friends, but that’s another post.

The house is filled with fan art that has been donated from ‘Silence of the Lambs’ fans, there is even a gilded framed death’s head moth taxidermy!
Let’s talk about the basement

Chris recreated Buffalo Bill’s Workshop of Horrors and when you come down the stairs into the basement the song “Goodbye Horses” can be heard and that is SOOO creepy!

Guests are going to be in for a real treat when they head downstairs to the infamous basement

The song “Goodbye Horses,” which plays during Buffalo Bill’s dance scene, plays as visitors enter the basement.

a vintage Singer sewing machine, disco ball, four female mannequins dressed to resemble the ones in the movie, and of course, a full length mirror and Buffalo Bill style kimono for our guests’ use.

There’s also a retro-inspired game room with ’80s and 90s films on DVD and VHS, games like Asteroids, Pac-Man, Galaga, and more.

If you want to book a stay, the pool opens up next year!
