Apparently ‘Fishcatting’ Is A Thing. Here’s What It Means.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words…but in the land of catfishing, it means literally nothing.

If you aren’t familiar with catfishing, it’s where someone either uses another person’s picture or HIGHLY edits their own to make them look…well, not like themselves.

Well, apparently men are fighting back now by ‘fishcatting’ back. But what the heck does that mean?

‘Fishcatting’ is where men are now asking for additional pictures and information before meeting their partner to ensure they are who they say they are and look like they say they do.

I can see why they would want to do this, but whether catfishing or fishcatting, I don’t think either is ok. One is lying and manipulation and the other is fishing for info the other may not be ready to give up so early. So glad I’m not dating anymore.
