Aldi Has A $5 Pineapple Slicer And I Need One
Y’all. I was at Costco the other day, and they had the prettiest pineapples. I didn’t get one, though, because I had NO idea how I was going to cut that thing.
I remember thinking, “Gah! I wish I had a pineapple slicer.”
Enter, Aldi. They always have the COOLEST finds, and right now, a Pineapple Slicer is one of them!!
They have a Crofton Pineapple Slicer in their Aldi Finds section, and it is only 5 BUCKS!!
This thing peels and cores the pineapple, taking the good stuff out from inside the prickly peel (?) skin (?) outside (?) shell (?).
It makes perfect rings, and then you can slice them in half if you want. It’s like getting the can of pineapple rings at the store, but these are FRESH — and there is totally a difference, AMIRITE?!?
The Pineapple Slicer will work on any pineapple that is between 3 and 5 pounds — which is MOST of the ones you can get in the stores.
The whole thing is awesome, but one of my FAVORITE features: It is dishwasher safe. That pretty much seals the deal. I NEED ONE in my life.
You can even totally use that hollowed out pineapple to make fancy-pantsy adult beverages of the tropical kind!! Don’t forget the little umbrella! You can get a package over 140 of them on Amazon for like 8 bucks.
So that settles it. You need one of these $5 pineapple peeler, corer, slicers, and so do I!!
