Looks like Warner Bros. may have been on our side the entire time…

Remember a few weeks back when a petition started circulating and then went viral to have Amber Heard removed from Aquaman 2?

At the time, the petition was nearing 4 million signatures, that’s just how many people did not want to see Amber in the movie.

Well, turns out, Warner Bros. didn’t want her in it either. That is, at least according to Amber Heard who claims she had to fight to keep her role in that movie.

During the defamation trial today, Amber was asked if she participated in the shooting for the sequel. After all, she plays Mera in the Aquaman franchise.

Amber replied:

“I have. I fought really hard to stay in the movie,” she said. “They didn’t want to include me in the film.”

When she was asked to elaborate, Amber added that although she’s in The Lost Kingdom, it’s “A very pared down version of that role.”

Could she be referring to the source that said her role was cut down to less than 10 minutes in the movie?

All this time, we truly thought Warner Bros. was protecting her but it sounds like, even Amber admits they didn’t want her in it at all.

I truly wish they had removed her completely and I am sure millions of others feel the same way too.
