Here’s Everything We Know About The New Disney And Pixar Film ‘Elemental’
How exciting!
Details have been released about the newest Disney and Pixar feature film called ‘Elemental’.
This will be the 27th feature film from Pixar Animation Studios!
‘Elemental’ is directed by Peter Sohn, he also directed ‘Partly Cloudy’, and ‘The Good Dinosaur’.
Denise Ream is the producer, and she also produced ‘Cars 2’, and ‘The Good Dinosaur’.
The film is about an unlikely pair, Ember and Wade, and they are in a city where all of the elements live together.
The elements are:
- Fire
- Water
- Land
- Air
Ember is a fiery young woman and she is with the go-with-the-flow guy Wade… and on their journey, they discover something elemental, which is just how much they actually have in common!
My parents emigrated from Korea in the early 1970s and built a bustling grocery store in the Bronx. We were among many families who ventured to a new land with hopes and dreams—all of us mixing into one big salad bowl of cultures, languages and beautiful little neighborhoods. That’s what led me to ‘Elemental.’

‘Elemental’ is an original film inspired by Peter Sohn’s childhood in New York.
Our story is based on the classic elements—fire, water, land and air. Some elements mix with each other, and some don’t. What if these elements were alive?
