Amazon’s New Sci-Fi Series Was Made for The Ultimate ‘Stranger Things’ Fan

If you’re anything like me and loved all of the references from the 1980s in ‘Stranger Things’, then you’ll want to check out ‘Paper Girls’ when it releases!

As I anxiously await season 5 of ‘Stranger Things’ I need to find other shows to fill that gap, and it is looking like ‘Paper Girls’ may just do the trick.

‘Paper Girls’ is a new young adult series from Amazon Prime and they just released the first teaser trailer, which I will include at the end of this post.

The series takes place in the 1980s, the greatest time to be alive… and the group of girls are transported to an alternate world/universe which happens to be in 2019!

Apparently, the girls are hunted by time-travelers that are called the “Old Watch”.

The “Old Watch” uses time travel so that they can remain in power, however, time travel is outlawed.

The series is based on the best-selling graphic novel by Brian K Vaughn.

So if you love the 80s and science fiction, then ‘Paper Girls’ should be right up your alley!

The first 8 episodes of ‘Paper Girls’ come out on July 29th, 2022, on Amazon Prime Video and I can’t wait!
