Boba Fett Is Returning In ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 And I Am So Excited
OMG!! Boba Fett is coming to The Mandalorian Season 2!
We first saw Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back — which happens to be my FAVORITE Star Wars film.
He is the totally cool bounty hunter that tracks Han Solo for Jabba the Hutt.
He isn’t good or bad, he just IS. He sides with whomever is paying him. And, I can’t blame him for that. Ha!
Boba Fett is going to be played by Temuera Morrison, who previously played Jango Fett in the Attack of the Clones.
If you aren’t aware, let me catch you up…
Jango Fett was chosen to be the model for all the clones that became the Storm Troopers. One of those clones was Boba Fett, who Jango Fett raised from a baby.
So, Jango Fett is SORT of the father — but the original model — of Boba Fett.
That’s my condensed version. Don’t jump all over me, and tell me how inaccurate and untechnical I am.
So, Jango Fett was a Mandalorian. He died when Boba Fett was young.
At some point in time, the Mandalorians find Boba Fett, who is now an orphan, and raise him as a Mandalorian.
ALL THIS TO SAY — It is totally accurate for Boba Fett to be in The Mandalorian, which occurs sometime between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
Boba Fett should be OLDER than we have previously seen, but he will still be Boba Fett, just the same.
I can’t WAIT to see how Boba Fett — one of my favorite characters — plays out during the FIRST Original show that was released by Disney+, The Mandalorian.
