Stephen King Just Announced He Is Releasing A New Book and I’m So Excited
Stephen King just announced that he has a new book coming out next March, and I can’t believe we have to wait so long!
I love Stephen King. He has a way of telling a story, which totally freaks me out — I’m talking to YOU, Pennywise — but I simply can’t stop reading. I have to find out what happens.
I’m sure this new book, which is going to be titled Later, will be just as flipping fantastic as his other novels.
This project is a little bit different than his typical horror stories. Later will be a story of crime.
But, in true Stephen King fashion, it will dabble in the genre of horror/suspense. There may or may not be demons involved that show up during the story.
The tag line on the front of the book, which Stephen posted on his Twitter account, is “Only the dead have no secrets.”
I, legit, can’t wait for this book to come out!
According to Entertainment Weekly, “Later tells the story of Jamie Conklin, a boy whose unusual abilities could aid his single mom and her police detective lover — but only at a terrible cost.”
Later is a beautiful story about growing up and facing your demons — whether they’re metaphorical or (as sometimes happens when you’re in a Stephen King novel) the real thing. It’s terrifying, tender, heartbreaking, and honest, and we’re so excited to bring it to readers.
