By Popular Demand, Burger King Has Brought Back The Original Italian Chicken Sandwich After Seven Years
Think chicken parmigiana without the pasta; crispy breaded chicken breast layered with sauce and a generous amount of melted cheese on top.
Burger King has replicated the same chicken parmigiana mom used to make for family dinner and has stuffed it on a sesame seed bun.
After a seven year hiatus, the lightly breaded white meat patty smothered in Mariana sauce and mozzarella cheese sandwiched in between a long sesame seed bun is back!
Last seen in 2014, the Italian Chicken Sandwich is of course, available for a limited time only.
Considering the o.g. Italian sub is back for a limited time and the holidays are right around the corner, it would be a Christmas miracle if Burger King brought back the sandwich as a permanent addition to the popular eatery; after all, we have been good this year Santa.
