You’ll Soon Be Able to Buy a Car Online from Amazon
Having car troubles?
Thanks to Amazon, the routine of purchasing a car from the dealership will soon be left in the past.
In a recent announcement made by Amazon at the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show, customers who are looking to buy a new car will soonn be able to do so via the Amazon website.
And according to the company’s press release, Hyundai vehicles will be the first brand available for purchase.
So not only will you be able to place an order for a new car at your fingertips, (as if you were shopping for a new vacuum), but the process of buying a car on their website aims to be “simple, convenient and even quick,” according to a promo video by Amazon and Hyundai.
Individuals shopping for a car in the U.S. will be able to filter available cars in their area based on the model, trim, color, etc.
And once you’re done checking out online after choosing a payment type and financing options, your brand new car will either be waiting for you at the dealership or delivered to you at your home.
“Hyundai is the first automotive company available for full end-to-end transactions in Amazon’s U.S. store and this is another example of how we continue to push for ways to elevate the customer journey together with our outstanding retail partners.” President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company Jaehoon (Jay) Chang said in a statement in a recent press release.
