Move over charcuterie boards, a new board just pulled up a seat to the table.

It is finally fall, and that means soup season!

And, especially in the south, our favorite soup involves bowls and bowls of hot chili.

That is the inspiration for these Chiliceuterie Boards that are going crazy viral on social media.

A Chiliceuterie Board is pretty much exactly what it sounds like: Chili and a bunch of toppings.

The star of the show is, obviously, the chili.

Now, some like their chili spicy hot, others like it with less kick. Some like it with beans, others think beans are a sin.

You do you when it comes to the chili.

How Do You Make A Chiliceuterie Board?

There’s only one stipulation: You have to have a big ol’ pot (or bowl) of chili — enough to feed a crowd.

From there, the sky’s the limit as far as accoutrements for your Chiliceuterie Board.

Anything and everything that goes with a good bowl of chili is in play.

Of course, you’re going to want sour cream and about a ton of cheese. Those are pretty much a must on any chili table.

But, we can sit down and brainstorm what else might be included on a Chiliceuterie Board.

  • Fritos
  • Tortilla Chips
  • Saltine Crackers
  • Ritz Crackers
  • Corn Bread
  • More Cheese
  • Cilantro
  • Radish
  • Lime
  • Green Onions
  • Red Onions
  • More Cheese
  • Guacamole
  • Pasta
  • Beans (So people can add their own)
  • Jalepenos
  • Avocado
  • Corn
  • More Cheese
  • Tomatoes
  • Taco Shells
  • Salsa
  • Queso (Cheese Sauce)
  • More Cheese

Good gosh. Now I’m hungry for chili!!

What other toppings can you come up with? I’m sure I didn’t get them all.
