Disney Is Conjuring Up A ‘Wizards Of Waverly Place’ Sequel And It’s About Time
Everything is not what it seems…
This news is fifteen years in the making, and we’ve all been waiting and hoping that it would happen.
Disney is working on conjuring up a Wizards of Waverly Place sequel, and Selena Gomez (Alex Russo) and David Henrie (Justin Russo) will be involved in the remix.
David Henrie is all set to be a series regular…
And, Selena Gomez will executive produce and make an appearance in the pilot.
Here’s crossing our fingers that she will be showing up on a regular basis!
According to Deadline, this Wizards of Waverly Place sequel is going to focus on a grown-up Justin and his family of normal, non-wizarding humans.
Justin — who now has a wife and two sons — has given up his wizarding ways, in exchange for normal family life.
But, a “mysterious incident” at WizTech — the school for wizards — leads a powerful young wizard to show up at his front door.
The eldest Russo son must once again embrace his wizarding past to make sure the future of the Wizard World is safe.
