I may have some news that hits Middle-Class America right in the gut, and I’m sorry.

Don’t shoot the messenger.

You know that third round of stimulus checks that we have been hearing rumors about, and so many people have been depending on?

According to CNBC, “Congress is considering lowering the income eligibility threshold for the third round of stimulus payments from $75,000 to $50,000 for individuals and from $150,000 for married couples to $100,000.”

Did you get that? I had to think it through.

If you make MORE than $50K as an individual, or OVER $100,000 for a married couple, you wouldn’t qualify for the third stimulus check.

So, basically, you might be punished if you work your ass off to make a living for your family.

Now, Congress has based the last two relief checks off of 2019 income, but as many are pointing out, things changed DRASTICALLY for people in 2020.

There are so many people that relied on a second job in 2019 to make ends meet, but when the coronavirus fiasco started in March of last year, and we were all forced home, they were stuck without that second income.

So, what might have looked like a total household income greater than $100,000 in 2019, might only be a single-income household in 2020.

Don’t panic just yet. Nobody is exactly sure on what Congress is going to base eligibility for this new round of checks.

Heck, it’s not even a 100% sealed deal that we are going to get ANYTHING.

There have been all kinds of rumors and speculation about this third stimulus check.

There have also been rumors and talks about $2K monthly payments for all Americans until the coronavirus is over — so who knows what’s going to happen.

With some people speculating that we are going to be in this coronavirus mess for 7 years, that could get hella EXPENSIVE for the government.

Nobody really knows, yet, what is going to happen. It’s all just conjecture and hearsay at this point.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that negotiations about the relief package are still ongoing, and that no decision had been made on the income eligibility issue for the stimulus payments.

Don’t worry. We will let you know just as soon as the government decides to get itself together and make a firm decision about more stimulus relief.
