A four-day work week could soon be on the horizon for many of us, and I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited.

Check it out. You’d work four-days a week — 36 hours — but not lose any pay.

Where do I sign up, right?!?

A group of 33 companies recently did a little experiment, headed up by the nonprofit 4 Day Week Global Foundation, that had employees working the four-day work week schedule.

The experiment lasted for six months, and nearly 1,000 employees got to participate in the pilot program.

The goal was to see if the employees would still be as productive by working four days a week as they were by working five days a week.

The results were pretty surprising.

According to the NY Post, both the employees AND the companies liked the concept, and “nearly everyone [said] it was unlikely they’ll ever go back to normal.”

If you have been stuck working your a** off five-days a week, you might feel the results in your soul.

Many employees also said they felt less stressed, experienced less insomnia, burnout and improved physical and mental health.

While the experiment had GREAT results for employees, it had a super outcome for the businesses involved, as well.

Revenue actually increased by 38% over last year at the same time!!

I mean, makes sense. Less stressed out employees can accomplish much more in a shorter time frame.

The four-day week has been transformative for our business and our people. — Staff are more focused, more engaged and more dedicated, helping us hit our goals better than before.

I can speak from experience. When I feel like I’m burning the candle at both ends, fighting just to stay afloat, my work gets sloppy and ineffective.

On the other hand, if I’m rested up and less stressed out, I can tell that my production is of much better quality and quantity.

What do you think about a four-day work week?
