Here’s How to Send Free Military Care Packages to U.S. Troops
Crown Royal has just the thing to thank military personnel for their service.
If you have family members or friends active in the U.S. military who you’d like to thank, or if you simply want to show gratitude for the hard work from our troops, here’s how you can do just that.
What’s named the “Purple Bag Project”, Crown Royal partnered with small non-profit founder, Kathleen Lewis to turn donated Crown Royal Bags into care packages that you can send for free to troops!
Kathleen, who started her own nonprofit organization, “Packages from Home” in 2004, had the idea to start her project when her son was stationed with the Army’s 1st Infantry Division according to WGRZ.
After receiving the package, her son expressed that it was comforting to recognize familiar items and thus, the project was born per WGRZ.
And you can also pack a free box of goodies to troops overseas using Crown Royal’s website by selecting four items from their snack list and writing a personal note to be packaged.
