Taco Bell likes to break hearts, tape the pieces back together and then shatter again like glass.

For example, Taco Bell had the audacity to remove their cheesy fiesta potatoes in the past, just to bring them back to forget the other omitted food items such as the Mexican Pizza like they all are chopped liver.

As we all are grateful that Taco Bell did us the favor and brought back the crunchy on the outside yet soft on the inside cheesy fiesta potatoes, there’s one item Taco Bell enthusiasts are still aching for, and that’s the famous Mexican Pizza.

The Mexican Pizza as we knew, featured two crispy flour shells layered with beans, juicy and seasoned beef, pizza sauce, tomatoes, and a melted three cheese blend on top.

The discontinuation of the personal pizza was removed late last year however, the light at the end of the tunnel is finally visible (maybe).

According to a Reddit user who posted an image advertising that the dish was returning in October, social media users were quick to cheer until some commenters noticed something was off with the photo.

The ad explains that the Mexican Pizza will be returning in October with a new type of pizza that will also be introduced dubbed the Bacon Ranch Mexican Pizza.

With that being said, the top rated comment pointed out,

“Don’t do this. Don’t give me hope … this is fake … I had that memory of sweet taste of Mexican pizza in my mouth and you just ripped it away from me again.”

Another user even noticed the word “ranch” was spelled incorrectly which clearly means that this so called advertisement was fake from the start.

Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza still remains off menus nationwide and to be honest, we all are sad about it, even with the return of the delicious fiesta potatoes.
