Jason Kelce Is Retiring From Football After The Eagles’ Emotional Playoffs Loss
Jason Kelce is ready to put away his football uniform for good, and thousands of fans everywhere just let out a cry.
You know Jason Kelce — the brother of Mr. Taylor Swift, and the center for the Philadelphia Eagles.
36-Year-old Jason Kelce has been playing in the league for 13 years, but he feels the time has come to hang it all up.
On Monday, the Eagles lost their wild card game in an emotional 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Before Monday’s game, Jason supposedly told his team in their locker room that this would be his final game.
You might have noticed that Jason looked a bit emotional and overwhelmed during the game against the Buccaneers — now we know why.
That looks like a man filled with emotion — You wonder if that’s it for 36-year-old Jason Kelce.

This news shouldn’t be a huge surprise.
Back in December, in an interview with The NFL Report’s Steve Wyche and James Palmer, Jason Kelce admitted that he just might be ready to retire.
If it’s this year, which it very well could be, we want to make sure that we’re ready to go when football is done, and with all of these different opportunities and things, to figure out what it is we want to do with our retirement. And then on top of that, just enjoy the last time you have left with the guys you have.

Jason Kelce has had an amazing run, and even has a Super Bowl Ring under his belt to show for it — not something that all players get to experience.
We will sure miss you, Mr. Kelce, and look forward to seeing where you go from here.
