We hear more and more stories about violence against fast food and retail workers, and it’s getting a bit ridiculous.

Working in fast food and retail are two of the most thankless, awful jobs out there. And, these employees are just trying to work for a living.

We should respect — not only the fact that these workers are actual human beings — but that these people are out there serving us as part of their jobs.

The most recent story of a Karen throwing a tantrum — and a burrito bowl — at an employee.

This fit ended in the perp getting slapped with an unusual sentence.

And, I’m totally here for it!!

Rosemary Hayne was caught on video throwing a burrito bowl in the face of a Chipotle employee.

And this time, actual charges were filed.

Why did Rosemary throw the burrito bowl?

She wasn’t happy with the amount of meat and fixings that went into her bowl of food.

Yes, I’m serious. Rosemary threw a little tantrum, because she thought she deserved more food.

You didn’t get your burrito bowl the way you like it and this is how you respond? This is not Real Housewives of Parma. This behavior is not acceptable.

Timothy Gilligan, Parma Municipal Court Judge

Emily Russell, the Chipotle employee who got her face full of beans and meat, had to work out the remaining 4 hours of her shift after getting struck with the burrito bowl.

She ended up quitting her job, because she felt like she had no support from the company regarding the violence that Rosemary inflicted upon her.

This Lady Received The Best Sentence For Throwing A Burrito At A Chipotle Employee

What happened to Rosemary?

This is great. Just wait!

Rosemary pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge, and was sentenced to a month in jail.

But, that’s not the best part.

She was also sentenced to work in fast food 20 hours per week for at least 60 days — the remainder of her sentence!!

Rosemary had the choice to sit in jail for 60 days, or she could “walk in [Russell’s] shoes for two months and learn how people should treat people.”

She chose the latter, so working in fast food she will be doing.

Now, I’m going to be honest. I’m not sure if I would want to avoid the restaurant she is working at, or if I would want to go and show her exactly how tough working in fast food can be. LOL!!

Kudos to Judge Gilligan for coming up with such an appropriate sentence!!
