One of Matthew Perry’s Former ‘Friends’ Castmates Is Planning On Adopting His Dog

We’ve all been mourning the loss of our ‘Friend,’ Matthew Perry, since his sudden death on Saturday.

But, if you think we are upset, can you just imagine what those that were closest to him are going through?

The cast of Friends has not spoken out individually yet, but they released a joint statement to People Magazine.

It says in part…

We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family — There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.

One “Friend,” in particular, is being proactive in making sure those that were closest to Matthew Perry are okay.

Sources close to the cast are saying that Phoebe, Lisa Kudrow, is planning to attend every memorial honoring Matthew.

All the cast are planning to honor Matthew by showing up to his memorial services.

Lisa, however, is saying that she is going to go one step further. She’s going to adopt his “beloved dog.”

Lisa and cast will all be attending his services. Lisa is also considering taking in his beloved dog Alfred.

Matthew Perry adopted Alfred back in 2021, and he has been a present fixture on his Instagram account since.

Now, if reports are to be believed, Lisa is going to take over the care of Alfred, and be his new human momma.

Our thoughts go out to all the friends and family of Matthew Perry at this incredibly tough time.

And, I just want to give Lisa Kudrow a big hug for stepping up and taking care of the doggo that Matthew loved so hard.
