How To Make Mini Chocolate Chip Pretzel Donuts:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, milk chocolate chips, and crushed chocolate covered pretzels).

In a medium bowl, beat one egg, then combine all wet ingredients (heavy whipping cream, greek yogurt, melted butter, vinegar, and vanilla extract).

Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until evenly distributed.

Pour batter into a piping bag, then pipe into 12-count mini donut pan (non-stick) until each donut is halfway filled.

Bake for approximately 10 minutes.

While that is baking, combine all topping ingredients (powdered sugar, hot water, and cocoa powder). Stir well and set aside.

Once donuts have cooled at least five minutes, drizzle with the glaze and serve. Enjoy!

Pro Tip: Did you know that hard pretzels  came about as an accident? It happened in Pennsylvania in the late 1600’s when a sleepy bakery apprentice accidentally overbaked his pretzels. The baker was angry and ready to fire the apprentice until he took a bite and loved them!
