I love waking up Thanksgiving morning, and starting the day off with a bang.

Sure, that means watching the yearly Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but mommy has to get her eyes open before that tradition starts!

That can mean a trip to Starbucks, a homemade cup of coffee, or a mimosa — or 2 — don’t judge!!

THIS year, I’m making this Thanksgiving Morning Punch to start my day off on the right foot.

It is so tasty, and just the bit of Thanksgiving flavor that will get you in the mood to make ALL. THAT. FOOD.

(Or, if you are like me, it puts you in the mood to hit up Cracker Barrel later in the day. LOL!!)

How are YOU spending your Thanksgiving this year??

Whatever you are doing, whip up a batch of this super-simple punch, and wake the family up right!!

How To Make Thanksgiving Morning Punch

You will need:

1 Jug of Apple Cider
1 Container of Cranberry Juice
1 2 Liter of Ginger Ale
A Couple Good Shakes of Pumpkin Pie Spice

Here’s what you will do:

Get a HUGE bowl or BIG pot. Dump all the ingredients in. Stir. Enjoy.

Yep. That’s it!! You are going to be crazy with tons of food later, may as well make the morning as simple and yummy as possible!!

If you were at MY house, you would accompany that Thanksgiving Morning Punch with some of our yearly traditional orange rolls.

Walmart

Do I make the orange rolls from scratch? Heck-to-the-no!! It’s Pillsbury all the way, baby!!

By the way — if you want to make the Thanksgiving Morning Punch more adult friendly, replace the ginger ale with a bottle of champagne (I find the cheap stuff works great here).

You can also add a shot of whiskey or vodka to the finished product to give it a little oomph. You’re welcome.

If you want to get all fancy, you can garnish it with sliced apples or frozen cranberries, but that is TOTALLY optional.
