Power Rangers Is Getting A Movie Reboot and I Call Dibs On Being The Pink Ranger

I am a 90s baby so I grew up watching Power Rangers. My younger brother and I would act like we were Power Rangers and I was always the pink ranger!
So, to hear there is a Power Rangers Movie Reboot in the works, it has brought back all that nostalgia and I’m ready to reclaim my role as Kimberly, the Pink Ranger!
By the way, did you know the original Power Rangers movie released 25 years ago?! Ahhhh!
According to reports, Jonathan Entwistle will oversee and direct both the upcoming movie report and film and television series.
eOne has taken over the development of the Power Rangers film from Paramount.
“Jonathan has an incredible creative vision for this iconic and hugely successful franchise, and is hands down the right architect to join us as we reimagine the television and film worlds of this property. Across our slate, we are looking forward to working with the most talented storytellers as we take on Hasbro’s rich fan-favourite brands and build entertainment universes around them.”
eOne’s film president Nick Meyer and global television president Michael Lombardo in a joint statement.
They continued with saying:
“This is an unbelievable opportunity to deliver new Power Rangers to both new and existing generations of awaiting and adoring fans. We’ll bring the spirit of analog into the future, harnessing the action and storytelling that made this brand a success,” said Entwistle.
I won’t lie, that sounds exciting. I’d love for my kids to get into Power Rangers so we could share that love as a family.
As of right now, we have no word when this will be released but we will keep you updated!
Let’s just hope it’s closer to the original Power Rangers movie with an updated twist!
