Sean Connery Has Died At Age 90
Super sad news to wake up to this morning, but if anyone led a long exciting life, it was Sean Connery. He passed away overnight in his sleep.
I think we all know who he is right? Sean Connery was an amazing actor who was best known for his role as James Bond. He starred in 7 James Bond Movies.
He had earned an Academy Award and several Golden Globes during his career. He also earned the Cecil B. DeMille, the Henrietta Awards, and two British Academy Film Awards.
He started playing James Bond in 1962 in ‘Dr. No’. Sean Connery was also well known for his roles in ‘Murder’, ‘The Untouchables’, and ‘The Rock. I love ‘The Untouchables’!
Another one of my favorites was ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’. Of course, who could overlook ‘The Hunt for Red October’. He was a brilliant actor.

We are devastated by the news of the passing of Sir Sean Connery. He was and shall always be remembered as the original James Bond whose indelible entrance into cinema history began when he announced those unforgettable words — ‘The name’s Bond… James Bond’ — he revolutionised the world with his gritty and witty portrayal of the sexy and charismatic secret agent. He is undoubtedly largely responsible for the success of the film series and we shall be forever grateful to him.

Sean Connery was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, how many people get to experience that? He was also chosen as People magazine’s Sexiest Man of the Century in 1999! The man truly lived life!
Sean Connery leaves behind his wife, Micheline Roqubrune who is an artist, and his son, Jason Connery. He had chosen to live in the Bahamas for his final years of life, and that is where he ultimately ended up passing.
