The In Memoriam Tribute Performed By HER Has Me All Up In My Feels
Y’all. Did you see the In Memoriam tribute during the Emmys? It was perfect, and I’m not going to lie, there were some tears.
Loss is ALWAYS difficult, but we are having to deal with so much sadness this year. Watching such a touching tribute performed by HER was all kinds of touching, and just a little sad.
I can’t believe we have lost so, so many famous people this year, even some I didn’t realize had passed.
As one person on Twitter said so eloquently, “Here are a couple dozen more reasons you might have forgotten that 2020 has completely sucked.”
This year, more than any year before, we lost so many people that meant so many things to so many people.
Too many people that were lost too soon. This is a year that hit hard in the feels.
Perhaps the most tear worthy moment came at the end of the tribute, when Chadwick Boseman was recognized. You will never be forgotten.
