It was not only a huge accomplishment — she won for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series — but it was a record breaking moment. When Zendaya’s name was announced, she became the youngest person ever to receive an Emmy in this category!
She is only 24, but has a whole lifetime of acting behind her. She has come such a long way from that dancing tween on Shake It Up (Disney Channel).
During the virtual Emmys Award Show, she sat, waiting for the winner to be announced, with her whole family and crew. They were all sitting in, what appeared to be maybe her living room.
When her name was announced, the whole room erupted into cheers, and Zendaya was obviously shocked, shocked, shocked!! It was the best acceptance moment EVER!
