This Mom Sums Up Motherhood In 34 Seconds…
Every mom has lived through this: that moment where we just want a little time alone and we know it’ll never happen. For some of us, it’s hiding in the bathroom with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. For this mom, it was hiding in the pantry with some Twizzlers. For all of us, the outcome is the same: They Never Go Away. Our kids are always present. They’re like zombies, but cuter, and sometimes not annoying. Except when we just need a minute…they never go away. Take a look!
It’s that dead-eyed stare I recognize so well. She just needs that little bit of time, but, again, They Never Go Away. I don’t think I know of a single mom who can’t relate to this mom. We have all been there. Some of us on a daily basis. And no matter how much you love your kids, how much you’ve worked so hard to make their lives happy and healthy and amazing, you are going to need a break. A break that will never come. Never.
