How To Make A Cinnamon Roll King Cake
Here’s what you will need:
- 2 Packages of Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls
- The Icing from the Cinnamon Rolls
- 1/2 teaspoon of Almond Extract Flavoring
- Purple, Gold, and Green Sprinkles
- A Baby Trinket
Take the cinnamon rolls out of their packages, and arrange them on their sides in a circle on a cookie sheet or pizza stone.
Bake the cinnamon rolls for about 14 minutes at 375º F.
While your cinnamon rolls are baking, take the icing, mix it with the almond extract, and put it into a microwave safe dish.
Heat this mixture for about 15 seconds in the microwave, and then stir it. The icing should be runny.
Once your cinnamon rolls — now in the shape of a King Cake — are done in the oven, let them rest and cool for about 10 minutes.
Once the cinnamon roll King Cake has cooled just a bit, drizzle the icing over the top of it.
Now, you’re going to shake those green, gold, and purple sprinkles all over the top of the cake, making sure to keep the colors together.
You can’t have a King Cake without hiding a little baby trinket inside, so stick your baby trinket inside one section of the cake.
Voila! That’s it!! One of the easiest, most tasty King Cakes you will ever have.
