Jeremy Renner Walks His First Red Carpet After His Near-Fatal Accident

Jermey Renner is living up to his Hawkeye character.

After surviving a near-fatal accident with a snow plow, Renner has proven that he’s just as strong as his character in Marvel.

Renner suffered eight broken ribs in 14 places, a broken eye socket, a broken knee, a collapsed lung, and a pierced liver after being crushed by a snow plow.

Ever since, he’s been documenting his recovery on social media.

Walking his first carpet since the accident with the assistance of a cane, Renner most recently made an appearance at the premiere screening for his new reality series Rennervations.

His new show focuses on the rebuilding of decommissioned government vehicles which Renner then donates to communities to help serve children who are in need.

Rennervations was filmed before the accident.

“It’s a lot of things for me personally,” Renner said to CNN about his new project after being asked how it felt to be at the event.”

“I feel like everyone is in on the joke now about what I’ve been doing with my time. It feels weird, wonderful, weird. I never thought I’d have dreams as a 52-year-old man still. I feel like I kind of did them. But wow, it’s nice to have things come true for yourself. There’s more wonderment still to be had, and I feel very grateful to be here to continue finding that wonderment, said Jeremy Renner to CNN.”
