How do you protect your own child if they don’t even know who you are?
Jennifer Lopez stars in a new movie that encapsulates what it’s like to have to leave your child at birth to protect her.
Besides the fact that a mother always knows what’s best, this new mother has done exactly that after leaving her kid in the hands of another to protect her from two criminals who are after them both.
“I’m a killer. But I’m also a mother,” says Jennifer Lopez in the trailer. “And I will die protecting her.”

The action-packed film also stars Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci, and Gael Garcia Bernal.
And spoiler alert, The Mother and her dughter eventually reuinte.
However it’s only after the daughter is taken away from the dangerous assailants The Mother was originally running from, and let’s just say there’s revenge on both sides of the table.
Now the only question is will The Mother tell her daughter that they’re related or will she withhold that secret forever?
It looks like the only way to find out is to watch the movie when it drops on Netflix.
The Mother premieres the Mother’s day weekend on May 12.
