Ryan O’Neal Has Passed Away At The Age Of 82
Back in the day, Ryan O’Neal posters graced the bedroom walls of fans everywhere.
He was the “It” man of the 1960s and 1970s. And, he’s all that anyone could talk about.
I’ll admit, I had a little crush on Mr. O’Neal. Sure, there was an age difference there, but just look at the guy!
He was one good looking celebrity, and his Oscar-nominated performance in the 1970 romance Love Story is iconic!!
Ryan broke into the entertainment industry with the soap opera Peyton Place in 1964.
He then went on to star in hit films like What’s Up, Doc?, Paper Moon, and the aforementioned Love Story — alongside some pretty hard-hitting co-stars.
Mr. O’Neal is survived by his 4 children: Tatum, Griffin, Patrick, and Redmond James.
It was his son, Patrick O’Neal, who broke the news of Ryan O’Neals death on Instagram.
Ryan had been diagnosed with chronic leukemia back in 2001, and then with prostate cancer in 2012 — but he was able to beat it.
So this is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to say but here we go. My dad passed away peacefully today, with his loving team by his side supporting him and loving him as he would us.

Patrick calls his father, Ryan O’Neal, “a Hollywood legend,” and says that people come from everywhere to see his star on the Hollywood walk of fame.
Our hearts go out to Ryan O’Neal’s family at this very difficult time.
